Reconditioning a vehicle battery removes the sulfate from home plates so it can run more successfully. It doesn't recover the strength of the battery to 100%, yet it does come close. The lead sulfate that has solidified and crystallized, which can not be removed by charging, can be gotten rid of by another procedure, called desulfation. This is the
